UK connect partners with ShelterZoom to elevate cyber and information security

UK Connect, a fast-growing technology partner to the construction and defence industries, has announced a new partnership with pioneering cybersecurity SaaS provider ShelterZoom.

ShelterZoom’s Blockchain-powered tokenisation platform secures files to prevent data loss, leaks and breaches, extending protection and compliance beyond the traditional network perimeter. The partnership will give UK Connect and its partners access to powerful tools such as Document GPS, enhancing document control, visibility and security.

The move follows a period of accelerated growth for UK Connect. Its expansion across the construction, defence and manufacturing sectors places greater emphasis on maintaining robust, enterprise-grade data protection, both internally and externally.

Joe Budnar-Hunt, CEO of UK Connect, said: “As our business continues to grow, we recognised the need to implement the highest standards of security to protect our data and that of our customers. ShelterZoom’s Document GPS solution protects data in the event of a cyberattack, future-proofs our operations and enables us to engage with customers with complete confidence. It’s a partnership that further strengthens our commitment to delivering the best possible customer experience.”

UK Connect will embed ShelterZoom’s solutions into its workflows, providing customers with next-generation systems to control, track and securely share digital assets and documents. Integrating this technology will streamline how UK Connect and its partners exchange information, reducing risk and improving efficiency.

James Smith, General Manager at ShelterZoom, said: “Our goal is to empower organisations to secure their digital assets in ways that weren’t previously possible with legacy systems. From the moment I first met the UK Connect team, it was clear we shared the same values, making them the ideal partner. I look forward to working with Joe and the wider team and am excited about what we can achieve together.
